The homeowners wanted more than a basic deck replacement—they wanted to give their home a bold, timeless look that reflected their personal style. Inspired by the homeowner’s childhood memories of a historic red house with white trim, we helped them select a vibrant CertainTeed red siding (Melrose to be specific) paired with crisp Azek PVC trim for that classic New England feel—minus the maintenance.

Forget flimsy J-channel finishes—this home now features architectural trim details that frame each window and door with elegance. The architraves add depth and craftsmanship, signaling pride of ownership and a love for traditional design.

️ Deck Rebuild: Safe, Stylish, and Smarter

Out back, the original deck was failing—rotting footings, deteriorating structure, and an awkward staircase layout. We replaced it with a 12′ x 20′ TimberTech deck (French White Oak color), using engineered girders to create clean lines and fewer posts for a more open feel.

We reconfigured the staircase to improve flow into the backyard, shortening it by a few steps and creating a safer, more functional transition. Now, the deck isn’t just rebuilt—it’s reimagined for better living.

This wasn’t a textbook install. During footing placement, we discovered a septic tank dead-center under the planned deck support. Our team quickly adapted, shifting the design and adding an extra footing—proving once again that problem-solving is part of every OCD project.

Front Porch Finishing Touches
