While some events have changed or been postponed, many events are still happening in the Hudson Valley. Kingston’s Sinterklaas celebration is an intercultural event that brings together people from Kingston with a showcase from artists and performers in the community. After a day of open houses and workshops, The Children’s Maritime Parade will send of Sinterklaas and his white horse on a tugboat.

Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison, NY represents the remains of a historic home built by Loyalists in the early part of the 19th century. Today, you can see the Boscobel House and Gardens from the outside, with its beautiful period decorations and gorgeous live string music. Take a walk through the apple orchard, rose garden and maple lane, where magnificent holiday lights will be put on display. Twilight Tours will happen on November 29, 30, December 6, 7 and 8 this year.

Farmer’s Museum in Cooperstown, NY is providing all outdoor hour-long walking tours of the museum grounds where visitors can learn about historic celebrations of the holidays in the Hudson valley. Learn holiday facts and fun trivia from an expert, and get your exercise in! Tours are open for groups no larger than 8 people, so get your reservations in early to secure your spot. Tours are scheduled on various days throughout December.
