Everyone loves a good wrap around porch. We picture family gatherings, cookouts with friends, and memories created and shared with loved ones. But the Orange County weather isn’t always kind to exposed, painted wood beams.

Our first job was to make sure the front porch was up to code and safe before even beginning to design the next steps. No matter how simple and straight-forward a wrap around porch remodel may seem initially, we don’t cut corners. We believe that every home asset is an investment and worth taking the extra step to do right and to protect.

From Chipping to Chipper

Building a safe front porch that was protected from the elements but also could withstand the New York seasons was imperative. We started by selecting materials that could handle wind, rain, hail, and would be low maintenance to care for long term. We also reinforced any structural elements of the wrap around porch to keep it safe and stable for years to come.

Whenever we replace old materials, we’re also very careful with our clean up. Leaving behind chipping paint isn’t right. It’s bad for the homeowner if it can easily get tracked into the house. And it’s bad for the environment when left to seep into the ground. Outdoor remodeling isn’t just a quick project for us – we take our responsibility to the community very seriously.
